Haiku Horse

My friend Richarda started a cookie business that has grown quickly in the past few years called Haiku's Luscious Cookies. Studio Haiku is based out of CT and the cookies are sold in CT, MA, RI. I've been lucky enough to try the scrumptious cookies. Look for them soon in New York.

Richarda is not only a talented baker, artist, and animal lover, but she is devoted to her horses. Why Haiku? Read more on the website.

I had fun designing this stuffed horse for Studio Haiku.

Happy Halloween

This past Sunday Halloween morning I woke up at 8:30 am, made fresh coffee, ate M&Ms for breakfast(which I do not recommend) and finished making Beasties sewing kits. By 11 am I arrived at BookCourt in Cobble Hill ready to sew Fairies and Zombies.

Parents and children worked together to make their own unique interpretations of Beasties. I was excited to see some very young crafters learn how to sew.

Zombie experience at Etsy Craft Night

I love how the author, Cambrey Thomas wrote about her crafting experience at Etsy labs for the Brooklyn Ink.
