


I enjoy the overall creative process in illustration.Once I decide on a concept I begin to do thumbnail sketches that look almost like scribbles. Within these scribbles I find just the right gesture and composition.Then I draw the image with more definition but slightly larger.Once again I enlarge my thumbnail drawing to a final and accurate size, adding more details.
Here are sketches that I am working on for a Little Red Riding Hood series. This version has a new twist! To be animal friendly I decided NO WOLVES or humans would be harmed in this fairy tale. The wolf sneezes everyone out!
